Well I have started on the gift stitching for this year. Yesterday finished off this lady. She only took 7 days, not bad. Planning to make this a central panel for a cushion. Who is it for ?? You'll have to wait and see.
Friday had the day off work to spend time with friends. The C&G group I joined over 10 years ago all meet up at the V&A. I somehow managed to not take many photos at all. We were all too busy chatting and looking round the Quilt exhibtion. 'L' and I had booked an afternoon course with the V&A, so left the rest of the group to wander while we heard more about setting up the Quilt exhibtion, conserving the items and collecting quilts. An excellent session. The curator, Jill Pritchard, had many asides about the quilts. I am still maintaining an exhibtion scrapbook - a left over task from C%G days, but it helps me to put down ideas and other bits before I forget them.

And here are 'D' and 'J'. They had both been in Scotland on a book course. D was on her way back to Canada and J was meeting her hubby in London on Saturday before heading back to Scotland with him.
This month I also have had a great package come home. My Altered Art Book. The All Things Tim European group (gee we need a shorter name) have been exchanging art books and creating pages for each other. The slide show below hold pictures of all the pages and a couple of close ups of them too !
