On the way home from Liverpool stopped at the NEC for the Worley Train Show. Hubby had a great time. I have ideas for presents for him too.
Finally home to check on our animals. Then Dr Who before bed...

Tuesday evening and we were all at the community centre in Liss for the November meeting. Making small canvas pieces to then mount on a card .
Here is my - sample as I was working on it. I did managed to finish and a photo to follow. A nice quiet evening with good company .
Trying out some new crafts. Saw this in a magazine then tracked down the original.

I think it looks even better for real.
In between the weekend jobs I have been creating a few pieces for Yuletide.
First a whole set of gift tags using a sizzix cut and embossing set of a star...but used the blanking plates Tim Holtz brought out to have a plain area for adding the name.
Then also completed the next stitched tree ornament. Completed three so far.
Last weekend spent sometime creating this decorated box. The insperation came from a photo my sister had sent.
The original was a sample for a class which she had been looking at. well as we could not make the class - instead she got me the materials pack as a birthday gift.
So here is my verison of the box. It is a little more Steam punk than the original but its much more ME!
