Late Night Out

Last night we were at the Emerates Stadium watching Bruce Springsteen. Great night out but it was a late one ! The stadium is really nice. Not been there before. Although we were wondering if we would get back for the last train home. Imagine 64,000 people all leaving at the same time heading to three tube stations. It did not help that the tube system had the circle line and may tube station shut due to the drink parties which had happened due to Saturday being the last day you could drink on the tube.

Been busy in the studio this weekend. Created a thank you postcard (blanked off the photo) and framed three doodles pictures.

Also have had some of the Tim Holtz grunge board arrive this week. Cheack his web site for a video showing thise new product. It is great stuff. Treated myself to some alcohol inks and thinner too. I have created a customed grunged name tag. Great fun. Sorry no photo of that!

Sunday was busy in the garden for most of the day. The morning it started off raining and I thought I would be stuck inside for the day. DH went off to collect his car and by the time he was back it was lovely outside. We have had to build a net cage over the greens. Saturday within a few hours three of my cauli plants where eaten down to stalks. GGrrr =( We think it is birds, so Hoping the netting keeps them off !
