Been playing some more with the Big Shot. Mostly to see what it can do. Below are examples of grunge paper (left) and grunge board. Both cut really well but the texture only arrives on one side. I have also cut a few fabric pieces. The cut was not as clean as i would have liked. I did use some paper as a second layer on one try but the paper cut well the fabric did not. I had used calico so I now wonder if it would be better with cotton.

This is my current house project but only coz its too large to travel with. Its an abstract design from a Canadian designer Northern Designs. Been waiting to stitch this for ages.

This is my 2010 diary. No not a jounal. The photo below shows how it looked when I bought it. Although in the right alter look I wanted to do a little more. So after some paint, alcohol ink , velvet rub downs and stamps this is the end result. The business like man you can see is on the first page inside. I liked the effect which the semi clear cover give. I used a few stamps to decorate the inner leaves. Did not go for too much that is 3d as this is a working book.
