Welcome to the Chicken Coop !

Here are three of the hens who live in the backyard. They have an area set aside for them, else we would not have any grass left from their digging to find grubs.


Here is more of the garden on the non-hen side. The pond sits across the border fence with the hen's area. Thus you can sit and watch them coming up to take a drink. Even walking past the clean fresh water in their holder !!!


This is my favourite picture of the hens. Just has such a great feel. This is one of the light sussex.


Finally, Pippi the cat looking for a way out. We kept her in the house for a couple of days until she had got the idea this was now HOME...

Well I think she has that now, this afternoon she brought in two dead mice and had caught a vole but saw my hubby coming in so went to greet him. When she open her mouth to talk the vole legged it !
