Unravel at Farnham Maltings

Yesterday spent the day with my friend at Unravel. This is a knitting festival held each year. We were to man one if the stands for a while in the afternoon for a friend and she passed us free entry tickets for helping.
A good show. There were knitted items all round the building like the balloons in the picture or the moles. We also found knitted items round the town put up as adverts. Kind if gorilla knitting. We had a lovely day although did not purchase much. We did get some knitting or crochet done while manning the stall.
The stand we were on was selling wool plus books by Elizabeth Zimmerman who is big in the USA for knitting, although I had not heard of her before. I do know a lot more now. The stall owner is her niece and in the same spinning group (yes, wool spinning) as my mate back in Colchester.
