Crafting in Coventry

Thursday I headed out to Coventry to join one of the two classes which Tim Holtz would be teaching in the UK. He had completed a Ranger class for store owners on the Wednesday and now it was our turn.

 

 The room was laid out facing a screen . Each chair had a kit waiting for us. We had been told that there was nothing to bring and oh wow there was everything we wanted on the table.

Tim had a number of samples out to share.

Everyone took a chance to look over and take pictures.

I met with my friends at the venue. We selected a table towards the back but it had 3 chairs free. Then Tim leaned over and said "I need to warn you , your sharing with some interesting characters". We wondered what that meant.

So here is the tag book we made during the afternoon. Dyan was creating her own special version with colours more in her own unique style. The pages were decorated with different stencils, findings and mini master pieces - See the Stamptember event on Simon Says !

 

So here is the pack which we found on the table and everything was ours to bring home. The apron has been signed by both Tim and Dyan. I loved the small stamp set plus there was findings to try , one of the new stencils and a whole pad of sentiments.

 

Tim then told the room that we would need something to take our work home in.

We were each given a messenger bag, a scrubby to clean our hands and a signed copy of Compendium II.

 

The organiser's had sales tables too

I picked up some more seasonal tissue tape, ribbon and a stamp set plus a stencil from Dyan's range !

 

A great day and start to a party weekend as I left Coventry to head off to the 60th Birthday celebrations for our friend James !
