SWEET TEA .....just Gorjuss

Created one card with the Sweet Tea stamp from the Gorjuss range. Photographed the base card and then after I added the 3d elements...
I like both ... the base card would make a really nice and quick card.

Art Impressions - Purrr-thday

Working with another new set from Art Impressions of these cats. This time I teamed them with the Robe Spinner stamp to create this card.
Had great fun.

Gardening in Inktense

Been trying some new stamp sets from
Art Impressions. This set is "His and her gardeners " ... love it.
Used the inktense pencils and a couple Xcut dies to create the scene.

Hummingbird Art

Last night finished my Hummingbird page from the artist edition of Secret Garden. These are colouring pages on a3 card. Only printed on one side and in a book made to take to pieces. In fact that was the first thing I did. ..took the glue off the side so each page is loose. This makes it so much easier to work on.

Love the black background I feel it really finished off the design.

Stamped

Been working on cards this weekend. Here I have been trying out making my own moon stencil,  then distress ink colour and finally Golden fluid acrylic interference gold over the top.

Finally stamped a fairy design over the top.

3D mackintosh hanger

My McKintosh hanger started life as three small canvases,  some ribbon, tissue paper and a stamp from Craft Stamper. I think this came out around June 2014 and I keep going back to this stamp.

On the hanger I have used different methods on the roses... first 3d decoupage , next a single layer painted in and finally an image stamped directly on the canvas.

These make a great set.

Yuletide Crafts

In between the weekend jobs I have been creating a few pieces for Yuletide.
First a whole set of gift tags using a sizzix cut and embossing set of a star...but used the blanking plates Tim Holtz brought out to have a plain area for adding the name.

Then also completed the next stitched tree ornament. Completed three so far.

Being creative

Last weekend spent sometime creating this decorated box. The insperation came from a photo my sister had sent.

The original was a sample for a class which she had been looking at. well as we could not make the class - instead she got me the materials pack as a birthday gift.

So here is my verison of the box. It is a little more Steam punk than the original but its much more ME!
