A cold a misty morning .... When cloudy was the weather ....

Its been getting steadly colder the last week. The winter coat and fur hat have come out to play !

Saturday had went to a day school in Bentley. First village hall been too where the heating was so good we started to turn in down/off !! Tanya Wood took us though ribbon embroidery techniques. Explaining a few tricks she has found in the past.

Although I have used ribbon in my work , this really was my first go at pure ribbon embroidery. ALl stitched with silk ribbon , beads and a few fancy threads. Tanya said she aimed to have us complete the project by the end of the day .... =) Which I successfully did ! I think this would look great framed, it may become a Yuletide gift.

Off to see the new Harry Potter tonight with Aunty Buni.
