Where is Snowy ?

Today's title works if you check out the photo. Here are four of our girls who escaped into the main garden but left the other white hen behind. The missing one is known as Snowy.  I mean normally Red Leader and Henrietta get out by jumping the gate, which we will fix by adding height. You see chickens can not fly.
Today I think Ball and Jemima must have walked across the frozen pond.

Been having a quiet weekend in after three disasters during the week.
* First we find a smell in the kichen last Sunday. After much searching discover a rat has died in the meter cupboard. Yuk. Next door had the council in putting poison down. But this also means there is a way between the two houses.
* Next we get home Wednesday to find we have no oil and thus no heating or hot water. So spent Thursday morning ringing round for some to be delivered asap. I get some at reasonable price with delivery by Tuesday. So OK we can use the open fire until then.
* Finally, on way home Thursday night hubby calls to say the chimney is on fire, he has the firemen on their way. So now we can not light fire until chimney sweep has been. We are lucky to find a local guy free on Saturday.
So we now have the fire going ,although had to order more wood.
I have been working on more pages for the Zentangles tunnel book. Also planning a fabric memory book with sound. More of this later when ready to show , but came from idea after listening to the PaperClipping Round Table. This is a podcast about scrapbooking but I find they cover so much that even a fabric artist can get ideas. I mean, my fabric books of pictures are a type if memory keeping. They have set up links to add to blogs so I will get that added to the side bar.

Hello Zoƫ,

what a week you had then !!!

Did snowy arrived at home yet ?

Gaia has two little rats that first stayed in her room, but she started coughing a lot, so she's probably allergic to them.
So, they ended up downstairs on the windowsill next to Wienne's computer.
I was scared in the beginning but now not anymore : they are funny and clever animals to look at.
BUT, a big dead rat in my kitchen.... yikes... would'nt love that too...

It was not the weather to run down of oil or get a chimneyfire !!
Hope everything is fixed now and you can enjoy your cosy home again.

greetings from Belgium
Inge
