Weekend in Wales

Spent a long weekend in North Wales with C and our DH's... We rented rooms at a B&B in Bleaua Ffestiniog. Although DH and I had a bad journey we were all there by Friday evening.
Below is the house.



We arrived to be welcome by this little guy. The garden had a couple of dragons in it.


The dragon must have been hiding from these two. The difference in our two cars was amusing.


Here is the view from the front gate. To drive out you had to cross an old rail line and go through a gate.

Saturday C and I left the boyz to go tramping into the hills , while we went shopping. Yes I know we were in these lovely landscape but we both needed some wool plus a few other bits. We had a nice relaxing day shopping and chatting ! Came back to the B&B to wait the boyz return. They had done a 12mile walk and were shattered.

Sunday we all headed to the head of the Welsh Highland railroad to book tickets for a ride over the whole track currently open. The weather was good and the trip went well. The guys both like trains which left us time to stitch.

Monday morning we all headed off. We drove on to see DH's parents , stayed for our evening meal before driving home.
