C&G Samples

Finished off all my samples for the photo embroidery of the victorian wedding. Here is just one of the samples. I enjoyed having the brides flowers starting to fall out of the picture !

The samples were worked on calico and silk using different types of threads. I found that the Gentle Art Sampler Threads [GAST ] gave the best look. The colours are more mooted which work well with the photo.

Spent yesterday stretching them over card and webbing the back. This then allows me to stick them into my module book.

I then started to put a new idea into place - creating an art doll version of the bride. Started using some wedding fabric snippets to create a main background fabric for the body. Well guess it means I'll be on the machine today :)
